Mechanism of action
Domperidone works by blocking dopamine receptors in the digestive system and in the part of the brain that controls vomiting (the chemoreceptor trigger zone). This action leads to: 
  • Increased Gastric Motility: It enhances the contractions of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move through the digestive tract more efficiently.
